Main Structural Components
The sternal fixation plate consists of an upper claw, a lower claw, and a locking buckle. The upper and lower claws are made of pure titanium (TA3G) material in accordance with the GB/T13810-2017 standard, and the locking buckle is made of titanium alloy (TC4) material in accordance with the GB/T13810-2017 standard. The product surface is treated with micro-arc (black-gray) anodizing. The product is available in both non-sterile and sterile delivery forms, with the sterile products sterilized by irradiation and having a sterilization validity period of 5 years.
Scope of Application
The sternal fixation plate is suitable for internal fixation of the sternum after median sternotomy in adults. It can be used alone or in combination with traditional wire binding.
